Who We Are
Joseph M. Salvani is a capital markets strategist and corporate advisor with over 25 years of experience across public and private markets. He previously served as the Head Chemical Sector Research Analyst at Goldman Sachs, where he led coverage of some of the world’s largest industrial and specialty chemical companies. Salvani was also a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Steinhardt Partners, the legendary hedge fund founded by Michael Steinhardt. His deep knowledge of markets, deal structuring, and regulatory dynamics has made him a trusted advisor to small-cap CEOs, institutional investors, and policymakers alike. At JD Unfiltered, Joe brings raw clarity, sharp instincts, and a fearless perspective to the most important financial stories of the day.
Daniel Walsh is a seasoned investor, trader, and capital markets expert with over 30 years of experience across proprietary trading, market making, and investment banking. He is the founder of Walsh Capital Industries and currently leads the Walsh Family Office, investing in early-stage healthcare, biotech, and tech companies alongside prominent angels and venture funds. Previously, Dan served as Managing Director of Investment Banking and Equity Trading at Garden State Securities and founded Montauk Ventures, where he advised and financed hundreds of emerging growth companies. At JD Unfiltered, he brings deep knowledge of public markets, small-cap capital formation, and the structural forces shaping American finance.
